  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Resume services on device reboot

  • READ_PHONE_STATE, READ_PRIVILEGED_PHONE_STATE: Device identification and compatibility

  • INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE: Network communication

  • REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES: To handle app updates (used for enterprise installations)

  • WAKE_LOCK: Prevents device from sleeping during trip tracking

  • WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: (Legacy support) Save files locally

  • FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Runs persistent services like trip tracking

2. How We Use Your Information

Collected data is used to:

  • Authenticate and register users (e.g., via OTP)

  • Enable GPS tracking and trip reporting

  • Deliver real-time notifications

  • Monitor and improve app performance

  • Provide support services

  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Use of Sensitive Permissions

We use sensitive permissions responsibly and transparently:

  • Location Permissions: Required for real-time GPS tracking. A persistent notification is shown when tracking is active.

  • Phone State: Used for uniquely identifying devices and managing login sessions.

  • Boot Permissions: Auto-restarts tracking services after device restarts.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Your data is retained only as long as necessary for service delivery and support.

  • Uninstalling the app deletes all local data stored on your device.

  • Users may request data deletion or export by contacting us at the email provided below.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services in compliance with their privacy policies:

  • Google Firebase – Authentication, Analytics, Crash reporting

  • Google Play Services – Location, Maps, and in-app updates

  • Retrofit & Volley – Secure backend communication

DragonDroid Plus is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted immediately.

9. Your Rights and Controls

  • Control location access from device settings

  • Uninstall the app to stop all tracking and data collection

  • Request your data (export or deletion) by emailing us directly
